The festival price will be just $120, including box lunch, buffet dinner and experienced bird guides. Whether you are kama’aina or just visiting, you won’t find a better deal. Register now to guarantee your spot on one of the vans. The “Sneak Peek” tours will feature small groups searching out the greatest variety of birds possible in one day.

For a special treat, select the photography tour led by Jack Jeffrey, noted bird photographer and ecotour leader. This tour will give you the opportunity to pick up tips on how to get extraordinary photographs in the field, while at the same time providing the chance to see some of Hawaii’s most unique native birds (see above photo). There are just a few spots left on the photo tour.

Whether you choose the Sneak Peek tour, the photography tour, or the pelagic birding tour, your findings will be uploaded to Ebird.com as Project Leader Brian Sullivan demonstrates the website at the Pau Hana dinner following the tours. Brian will also give a short demonstration of the website at the main event on Saturday, September 24 at the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay.
